Start the program. Go to File -> Settings -> Preferences -> Options.

Click the ‘Key Generator’ button.

Choose ‘PC’ and click ‘OK’.

Then you should be able to download a key from your Autodesk website.

You can also use IDM 2 and its autocad type password (found under Settings->Preferences->General) and it should be able to generate a key for you.

Can someone help me? I’ve been trying to download AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2015 for a couple of hours now, every time I do I get the same error, it reads: “This application has failed to start because it is or is not in safe mode. (Code 2)”
