Trying to figure out how to use force upon a module

I have built a module and am trying to activate it to simulate a ship. The only problem is I cant figure out how to make it activate. It has a console that I can type in
Ammo:
Red:
Green:
Black:
I want to activate it so my ship will shoot a modal, but I dont know how to make it activate.

The MakeActive() function is used by scripts to automatically activate a module.
It is called automatically if you have the module itself set to “Active” and it’s “Crew Slots” set to “Use Crew”. (This is the default setting.)
There’s no visual indicator to signal that the module is active; the module itself simply responds to any kind of trigger. However, having the “Active” setting on the module and the “Crew Slots” setting on the module set to “Use Crew” will cause the MakeActive() function to be called automatically when that trigger happens.
In the documentation, it says:

When a scripted object is to be activated, the MakeActive function can be used to ensure that the object is instantly available and performs all the pre-requisite checks and processing necessary to activate the object.

So, there are a few things to understand here.

Scripts don’t have to “use” crew to be able to use MakeActive() – MakeActive() will automatically use crew for an “Active” module without the “Use Crew” settings.
If you have “Active” set, the module will automatically be activated when that trigger occurs.
When you use “Use Crew” on a module, MakeActive() will be
