finally, the mac os version of the driver was released in august 2010. it can be downloaded and installed manually or from the mac app store (registration required). in addition to asio, it also supports sound driver interface (sdi) and audio bus (adb) support, and its core audio and audio driver support functions can be used for software asio drivers. while not fully supported by all third-party software, or for mac os x 10.6 (snow leopard), it does implement the core audio and audio driver support functions. the driver supports 96khz 24-bit data transfers by default, and supports stereo and surround sound.
