The depressed Sarah (Chantal Quesnelle) lives with her disabled daughter Nica (Fiona Dourif), who is stuck in a wheelchair since she was born, in an isolated old house. Sarah receives a package with the creepy red- haired doll Chucky and she throws it in the garbage. But during the night she is found dead and Chucky is sat on a chair in the living room.
Nica’s sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) attends the funeral with her estranged husband Ian (Brennan Elliott); their little daughter Alice (Summer Howell); the nanny Jill (Maitland McConnell) and her friend Father Frank (A Martinez). Along the night, there are mysterious deaths and Nica discovers that the package was sent from the evidence depositary. She also researches the Internet and suspects that Chucky might be behind the murders.
Curse of Chucky is a great return of the franchise with a sinister history of Chucky.
Ian returns to bed, but after smelling evil he tells Nica to leave the room and hides under a bed. Jill and Barb come back upstairs and try to comfort Alice in the shower. Jill grabs a knife from the kitchen and stabs Alice in the shower. Jill then hides under the bed as the two women discuss Chuckys existence. Suddenly, a red-eyed Chucky jumps into a framed photo behind Jill. The killer winds Jill and turns her body over, revealing a fresh stab wound. As Chucky pulls her body over, her face comes off revealing a green-eyed Chucky doll. Tiffany phones Nica, who tries to reassure her that everything will be ok but Tiffany tells her that Chucky has Alice. Chucky places Alice in the bed and then cuts Tiffany. Nica goes downstairs to find Alice alive and well and Nica calls Tiffany. Tiffany says that Nica has no idea what shes talking about. Barb and Jill arrive at the house and try to open the door, but Chucky slams it shut and gives Barb and Jill 30 seconds to leave. Nica takes Chucky upstairs where he kills the women in their sleep. Chucky then dismembers and cooks Jill. Tiffany, now fully evil, calls Nica again, this time with a message: “You gonna have to kill yourself honey, cause Chucky isnt coming home.” Chucky then throws a vase through a mirror and claims that Nica is the one who wants him dead. Chucky eats a few pieces of Barb and returns to Alice. Chucky then turns on Alice. Chucky then turns on the shower and sprays Alice in the face with hot water.
