A:

You should keep only one set of eyes on the file. If it is big, use grep (from the command line) to search the file for lines containing the word ‘9.0.1’, and if you find any of them replace all of the text after them with:

23 .

so the output will be:

23 .

If any results contain ‘9.0.1’. The results should be treated as a list of strings which need to be appended to:

23 .
.

In a shell, that might be something like (in a text file called filename.txt):

grep 9.0.1 filename.txt > filename.txt.9.0.1
cut -f 2 -d. filename.txt.9.0.1 > filename.txt
sed -i ‘1i23 . . . . . . . . . ‘ filename.txt

Q:

T-SQL: How to change last row value to MIN of the previous 10 rows?

I have the following query:
SELECT MAX(id)
FROM mytable

I need to change the last row of the result set to MIN of the previous 10 rows.
What is the most efficient T-SQL-way of doing this?
I could use another MAX() query, or I could also use window functions.
Is it also possible to do this without having to rewrite the whole query?
Can I make a temporary table and insert into it, then pick out the desired last row?

A:

Use a subquery to select the 10 previous values, then take the minimum:
select t.*
from (select t.*,
row_number() over (order by id desc) as seqnum
from mytable
) t
where seqnum package thrift.util;

import java.util.concurrent.Callable;

/**
* A task that executes a series of actions and returns a specific result. The
* actions to be performed are specified in a Callable object which must implement
* the run
