In 2009, Autodesk announced that it would no longer provide technical support and the next major update would be a year or two away. Now that AutoCAD is over 30 years old, we’re pleased to announce that the update to AutoCAD 2017, released today, has been made available for download from the Autodesk website.

We downloaded it last night and this morning installed the update. The update is pretty small and there were no issues installing the program. The upgrade process seems to be working very quickly. In the future, as Autodesk releases updates to AutoCAD, we will update our AutoCAD download page to include the latest version. We’ll also be updating this page as soon as AutoCAD 2017 is released. For now, here’s how the 2017 version works:

1. The program is optimized for the Windows operating system and is available only for Windows users.

2. AutoCAD 2017 includes new features and bug fixes, and there is no menu or option in the interface to allow you to revert back to the 2016 version of the application.

3. With the 2017 update, AutoCAD has a new look. The user interface is “fresh” and the icons used in the interface are new.

4. Because the program is 64-bit, you will need to upgrade your PC to a 64-bit operating system.

As an AutoCAD newbie and a longtime AutoCAD veteran, I have a few initial impressions of the 2017 program.

How to use a multithreaded solution to get the result faster?

I’m a newbie.
I’m writing a program with some needs of parallel computation.
I’m not sure of how to do it.
So far I know how to use pthreads (by converting a program to c) to make the code run faster.
So here is the problem:
