The first person view is pretty good and allows you to actually SEE a little bit in the game (if you choose to). Unfortunately, the camera doesn’t seem to move (unless its locked in one position). The movement DOES occur, but its being implemented in a very awkward way. In some situations, it allows you to move to the side but not forward, which I find to be a horrible way to implement movement. If you can move forward at all, its usually VERY difficult, as you can only move around in sections of the world or when you’re forced to do so (i.e. when you enter a dungeon). Either that or you can move in large arcs around the world, which is MUCH more comfortable, but you can’t do certain things. For example, I couldn’t hit anything when I tried to move forward as doing so would cause me to teleport to the next tile. It’s a terrible way to implement this kind of movement and makes the game a HUGE pain in the ass. If you’re going to force me to create my own character, I’d rather you do it in an easy way and make some things a little bit easier. I know there are some things you can do with systems such as PP and you can supposedly use a certain item (Yup, I’ve seen a few people post about that), but that doesn’t make it EASY.

The entire way your character looks is handled like a CHEESY hack and slash. You have numerous options. You can change the color of your hair, change the color of your hair if you have long hair, change your hair length, change your pants, change the color of your eyes, change the color of your skin, change the length of your nose, change your clothes, and a plethora of others. There are tons of options, but most of them are easy enough to change if you’re willing to change them. I’m really fucking sick of the color choices in this game. For the most part, the colors really
