Inverter Yield – Specifies the maximum capacity of your system’s first (solar) inverter and whether or not the system uses an Active Current Limiting (ACL) circuit. Default = 60%, no ACL. Possible values = 0% – 100%.
Power Meter Yield – Specifies the maximum capacity of the power meter that is in use. Default = 100%, no power meter. Possible values = 0% – 100%.
DC Voltage – Specifies the maximum voltage allowed by your solar inverter. Default = 75v, no limit. Possible values = 25v – 100v.

What’s New in the PV Bean Counter?

The Application manages PV system yield data from PV inverter. In addition to inverter yield the information includes the production of wind turbine, oil or gas well. This data is presented in a winform that users can change the way they report this data.
PV Bean Counter main window is shown below.
The blue rectangle indicates array flow and the bottom and top tabs are used to select one or more batteries or PV module for analysis. An array of batteries (or multiple arrays) can be selected with the blue rectangle. A battery can be selected with the mouse or a battery can be selected with the drop down battery list in the top tab.
The current selected array is indicated with a
note. The note of the array can be changed with the note drop down list in the
note panel.
A PV panel can be selected with the drop down panel in the top tab. Each panel can be edited to change parameters such as solar irradiance, tilt and azimuth. The solar irradiance panel can be changed with the
pmscale button.
A PV module can be selected from the drop down list in the middle tab.
The bottom tab contains switches to perform some energy calculations.
Use the arrows to navigate the notes tab. This tab shows information such as MPPT charging profile, array flow and average power.
The left and right tabs show information about the current battery.
The left tab contains general battery information such as status, voltage
(AC and DC), charge and energy.
The right tab contains information about the charging history for the
battery.
The bottom panel contains information about the array flow.
The array analyzer generates waveforms such as arryflow, voltage, current,
power.

The following example shows how the process can be used.
From the menu bar of PVBC click:
New to open the new array window as shown below. Select an array of PV
modules.

Double click on the name of the battery.

From the drop down list select “MPP charging profile”
